Cold winter days!

Have you joined in the new +CraftinDesertDivas monthly challenge yet? This months theme is perfect for those cold autumn scene cards. We have a beautiful selection of images to get your ideas flowing.

I took my inspiration from the rainy day image and combined it with the warm browns and reds from the squirrel and the hedgehog. I choose the sweet raking fall fun digi stamp and teamed it with images from the fall hall digi, to create a rainy autumns day.
This is the scene I created using the silhouette app its great for creating one layer cards using several digital stamps. You will note in the final image though I removed the robin and toadstools and increased the size of the other images so it wasn't as busy. That's what is so great about digi stamps though you can create you scene so easily on the app and just print it straight out.
I'm so pleased with my final card I printed him out and cut a rectangle base using the crazy stitched frames, then it was out with the promarker's to colour in this beautiful scene. I kept the colour scheme simple using a mix of warm browns, reds and green and combining it with a cold blue for a winters sky. I added glossy accents to create raindrops and finished off with adding white highlight. I hope you have enjoyed my card and I look forward to seeing everyone's beautiful makes.
